What an international company needs

Accepting a payment from a customer in Russia requires more than adding a website button. The setup needs a clearly identified legal seller, transparent product, customer terms, an approved banking or payment route and a merchant settlement process.

The company supplies corporate documents, ownership and beneficial-owner information, and describes its website, business model, operating countries, goods or services, pricing, average ticket and projected turnover. Sale, refund and privacy terms and support contacts are also reviewed.

  • legal-entity registration documents;
  • director, owner and beneficial-owner information;
  • an operating website identifying the product and seller;
  • payment, delivery or service and refund terms;
  • expected geography, turnover and average ticket.

Payment methods that may be available

An approved project may receive RUB payments through SBP/C2B, a dynamic QR code within NSPK infrastructure or a payment link. The integration links each payment to an order and delivers the result to the merchant dashboard and through an API, webhook or callback.

Card acquiring is considered separately and only where suitable banking infrastructure is available. WHITECAPITAL does not promise automatic access to every method: the final setup depends on the company, product, jurisdiction and approval results.

  • SBP and C2B;
  • dynamic QR for a specific order;
  • payment links for websites or applications;
  • API and server-side status notifications;
  • transaction registers, reconciliation and an agreed refund process.

Onboarding and merchant settlements

Following the application, WHITECAPITAL performs KYB/KYC, compliance screening, risk, website and product review. A successful review is followed by agreement of the contract, payment participants, integration, limits, fees, any applicable reserve and operating procedures.

Settlement currency and timing for an international merchant depend on the approved structure and are stated in the contract. No currency, exchange rate or timing should be treated as guaranteed before that agreement. Transaction registers support reconciliation of orders, payments, refunds and settlements.

What affects the application decision

Payment partners need to understand who sells, what the customer receives, where the service is delivered, expected refund risk and whether the website matches the declared business. Missing documents, an unidentified seller, prohibited categories or a material mismatch can stop onboarding.

Preparing the ownership structure, product descriptions, contracts and public policies in advance does not guarantee approval, but it makes the review more specific and reduces avoidable questions.
